Fare Healthy and Chocolate Mode!

Agora, arregaçar as mangas e preparar-me para Sábado - Em modo Chocolate! Love it!

Be Well!

He was waiting for me and did not know how much!

Last weekend I went to a health and wellness convention in London - Fare Healthy 2017. It was an overwhelming explosion of excitement, adrenaline, a willingness to absorb everything, images, products, contacts, knowledge in just 48 hours!

A very dear friend warned me a priori that i had to go there to find out that i wasn't obsessed and that it wasn't an attempt at any other project because the way i talked, through the passion in my speech, the love i put in my recipes, that's natural on the way i shared; The truth is that i was finally could be able to prove it after having been there, to have heard those wonderful people and so much still to be discovered but now, after having identified and confirmed that the world i dreamed of exists, in fact, i feel more fulfilled, the fear always exists and in a way, i see it as a sign of responsibility, but with a renewed confidence because it's undoubtedly a mission, a path that i decided to take and i intend to follow it as long as i have strength and health and preferably with my dearest ones at my side, because without them too none of this will make sense.

Saturday morning began with Gaby Roslin (TV \ Radio) as host and blogger Natasha Corret cooking giving wonderful tips on simple dishes, teaching how to save vegetables, and with little doing much.

It followed the one that fills rooms behind of rooms, Ella Mills to be interviewed by the Peruvian Chef, Martin Morales; A delightful interview, where she spoke literally with open hearts and told us how she had even started to this day.

Being part of the room and being a follower I could not miss the opportunity to buy the new book and be autographed!

Until the day before, we had already talked about the workshops and were always very caring, a very dear person who deserves all the success she has achieved; I just have to wish you all the best!

When walking around Fare Healthy or on the street, there was something that was always to jump in sight even for those who do not like it and believe me, today that i talk with many more people about this matter, it's not enough - The Chocolate! The growth of black cocoa production has skyrocketed and sales are matched! People are becoming more aware of its benefits and this is wonderful!

In London i saw shops with their own factory where they invited the customer to visit, at the convention, well there was even the word of order: 70, 85 or 90% cocoa, you could see in any corner tablets of 50, 70 or 85gr, without a doubt something to rethink include in your diet and I will speak a little further!

Lunch time has passed, i was in the middle of lectures but it's always time to snack even more when we're talking about dishes with beautiful colors and tempting smells for any time of the day. As soon as i saw that there was a line at Indian's, I didn't hesitate! Hmmm, it was delicious, I miss it already! (now with Meera Shoda's guru's book, I can only find some time to get into this flavors adventure!)

(Book, Fresh india - Appointed by The Times and Financial Times - The Book of the Year)

Glad that i was literally in a weekend bag, because i came back with the same as twice the weight with the Bibles i brought! But I came back soooo happy!

On Sunday i went walking like on my high school days and when i arrived, i was happily surprised by the local market where we see a little bit of everything! A horrible time and everyone's celebrating! There's no doubt, our Country can have its defects but my God, a light like none, a Sun so friendly and sometimes, God forgive me but we must leave to give value to what we have ! It rained on that day and even then the animation didn't stop; Some were singing, others were selling clothes in second hand, fruit and flowers market that made everyone wanted to buy everything! An area i didn't know until now - Brick Lane and surprised me on the positive!

The last talk and the cherry on the cake were 4 now businesswomen, who shared their experiences, their fears, their obstacles (immense!) Their impulsivities and it is funny because we can even change from Country, race, culture but in the background we are all so similar...

After applauding enthusiastically and exchanging contacts with one of them, i went to say goodbye to them, that is, with a wonderful crepe with peanut butter from Pip Murray, founder of the brand Pip & Nut.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate are undoubtedly two elements to include in your diet; The chocolate at a much higher level and if you want to know more, benefits and properties, some recipes including my Cocoa Grove Salad, taste new flavors of chocolate, is now invited to attend the presentation of the book Chocolate Nigredo - "Chocolate With Poesia ", a passionate story of Paula Gabriel Mouta, on February 11 (next Saturday) at 5:00 pm where i'll be with the author on Choco-Cooking stage at Campo Pequeno (integrated in the event - Chocolate in Lisbon) .

Because above all this is a sharing of experiences, I couln't let to pass another day without doing this. I advise anyone who has a taste, curiosity not to miss visiting the next Fare Healthy, it's worth it!

Now, roll up and prepare myself for Saturday - In Chocolate mode! Love it!

Be Well!
